My honest to goodness concern right now is if that law is going to go thru with everyone (Etsy Sellers, Home Career Moms, ect.) having to have everything checked for lead. I am still hoping it doesn’t go thru because I like to shop for baby shower gifts, my son’s clothes and many other items online and it would be such a shame in this economy the way it is if they were to pass that law :o(

My concern of the week is that I just found out about the bill that may pass about buying/selling used clothes, toys, etc. I own a childcare business in my home and this would be really hard for me as garage sales are the way to go for toys! I also subscribed :) Thanks for the great giveaway!

Our concern right now is whether or not to transfer to a new school for my husbands grad program. Oh and a non concern but exciting moment- my daughter is now a classified walker instead of a crawler!

My biggest concern right now is whether I can handle everything on my plate! I have 3 children (have no family or friends nearby to help me out once in awhile), my husband is overseas, and I’m taking a full time courseload at a community college. I’m just a tad stresed right now.

This is cool, makes for interesting comments! Yesterday I saw a most amazing thing. I live where is is very cold in the winter. Yesterday at 11:00 am it was a balmy 9 degrees. I looked outside and there in the bright sunshine I saw what looked like glitter falling from a cloudless sky. It was a process called “deposition” where the water vapor in the air turns directly into a solid(in this case ice crystals)without turning to a liquid first…the opposite of sublimation. It was tough to get a decent photo of it, but there’s one on my blog!

My concern right now is the economy, it’s actually be a concern for a while but some times I feel worse about it. I think it’s the rising prices of home bills and the lack of funds to pay them.
I read earlier this week that a 93 year old man died in his home from freezing to death. How sad is that? The gas company had shut him off for non-payment of his bill but when the person found him, he had all his bills on the table with cash attached to them to pay them. Maybe he just forgot. His wife had passed before him and he had no children.
They said freezing to death is the most painful death. So sad.

My biggest concern today (and for many years to come) is my health. I am 34 years old and have been hit with a very heavy diagnosis from doctors. I am at stage 3 (pretty serious stuff) with Chronic Kidney Disease, I have three young children and hardly any finances to spare for medical. We don’t have a car/truck and bills are pretty much impossible to pay as it is. I fear this disease will get out of hand and I will have no way of seeking the care I need. My fear bigger than this is that the doctor’s think that my five year old daughter might have the same problem and have begun testing her. She’s had 8 UTIs in 7 months and the doctors have started to worry. They have set her up with a kidney specialist in the area for further testing (as if my diagnosis wasn’t enough!!!)…
please count me in as this would brighten my day a little more that I’ve had in a while.

This afternoon my girls were pretending A was sick & L was the doctor. A apparently had a “cold” that required she be in the hospital, her “doctor” cuddled with her in “bed”, she had a temp of 200 and was getting worse. . . it was quite amusing LOL.

Concern of the day: Having just lost my power briefly during this week’s snowstorm that hit Ohio, and learning how many others around the country have lost power, I’m worried about the vulnerability of the power grid of the country — but hopeful that the stimulus plan will include lots of funding for improving our infrastructure!

My concern is for the people who keep losing power due to ice and snow storms. Altho we haven’t lost power for years, I do remember how cold it was, when we did lose power–we were fortunate and it came on in about 2 days.

Hmmm…I don’t get the joke above my post. My son has ADD, he can ride a bike just fine. I am all about funny jokes but I just don’t get it at all. ???
My son is always coming home telling me about his school day. Today, Friday, he comes home and tells me that they were doing math when another boy in the class said what they were working on didn’t make sense. He said his teacher asked “does it make dollars?”. He said he got the joke but the other boy didn’t. It made him proud I guess that he understood the joke. He walked away from me laughing, I just sat here kinda puzzled. His teacher has a wonderful sense, or is that dollars, of humor. LOL.

I have a lot of concerns. First, I’m afraid that the new presidency is going to spend the country into bankruptcy in the attempt to give to everyone. Second, I am concerned about the regulation that might drive so many Etsy sellers out of business.
And third, not a concern but a joy. We had a beautiful spring like day and I know that it is just a matter of weeks before my spring flowers start to peek out.
