Blogetition are hosting a contest to win some cash: $50 via PayPal.

There are many ways to enter this contest, each enables you to earn a specific number of credits:
- Blog it;
- Stumble/digg/redd-it;
- Comment it;
- Submit a new contest for them to publish on their blog.

Check the contest’s page for more details. It closes on February 29th.
I don’t know if the winner will be the one with the biggest number of credits, or drawn randomly.

For your information, this is the second contest of Blogetition. They are running another ongoing one, which you can read about here.

Free Calendar

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

I haven’t had the chance to look for free calendars for this year. Only today have I received two from friends, but I never have enough calendars. It’s still the beginning of the year to me (will be until some time around March :D), so if you have a calendar freebie to suggest, please send me a link.

Here is one from the Brooklyn Children’s museum:
“Please fill in the information below if would like to receive a monthly e-mail about Museum events. When you click “sign-up” you’ll receive an e-mail confirmation from us.”

PS: This is rather a calendar of events.

Blog Contest: $120 GC at FeeFiFoto

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

EDIT: This contest is now closed, and the very lucky winner is Krista.

This is my second blog contest ever, and you can tell I am liking it.
[Check my other blog contest where you can win a year of free hosting.]

This contest is also part of the Bloggy Giveaways Carnival: Winter ‘08 Edition.

I won a bag ($120 value) 3 months ago at Pj Mommy, from FeeFiFoto. I asked to have a gift certificate of that value, because that shop had so many cool items, and I wanted to grab the maximum number of them. I already made a list of items I wanted, and knew what kind of pictures I wanted to use, but due to many circumstances, I could never order those items from the shop. When I learned about the giveaways’ carnival today, I knew that I had to participate in it, and since I had this precious gift certificate around, I thought I’d punish myself for not making a good use of it promptly (I was truly busy!), and reward someone else with it.

That said, here are the details of this giveaway:

WHAT: A $120 gift certificate at FeeFiFoto. They will put your photos on almost anything. Really — almost anything.

HOW: Simply leave a comment here, letting me know what you’d buy from FeeFiFoto shop with your GC.

WHEN: February 2nd, 2008, at midday, UTC.

A few other points to bear in mind:
- The winner will be drawn randomly, and announced during the weekend.
- You don’t have to be a blogger to enter, but I’ll appreciate any link love you send my way.
- Make sure you use a valid email.
- If the winner doesn’t respond in 48 hours, I’ll have to pick another person.

And finally, if you like my blog, please subscribe to my feed.
Happy carnival to everyone!

Blog Contest: 1 Year of Hosting

Monday, January 28th, 2008

EDIT: This contest is now closed! The winner is announced here.

This is my first post in the new place with the new domain name and the awesome new look. Some of you might remember me from: www.internationalfreebies.blogspot.com; if not, welcome anyways!

To celebrate the new blog, I am giving away a prize I previously won at SEOlogs.com: a Professional Shared Hosting Package ($99.50 value), from Think411.com.

think411.jpg

Since this is my first blog contest ever, I’ll keep it simple. So for a chance to win 1 year of hosting:

1- Write a 100 words entry about this contest, and link to this very same entry, to my homepage and to Think411.

2- Subscribe to my feed by email.

3- Leave a comment here with a link to your entry, so that I can keep track of all participants.

If I receive a satisfying number of entries, I may even purchase a domain name for the winner, so that s/he too can have a blog with her/his own domain name, and cool look.

Last day to enter is February 28th, 2008. The winner will be drawn and announced shortly after that date.
